At HighNote, we are dedicated to supporting women in the business world. Being a woman-owned business certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), we truly understand the significance of empowering and championing women in their careers. It was with great excitement that we recently announced our sponsorship of the Business Women First Awards that took place on April 16th.
The Business Women First Awards put on by Louisville Business First was a lively and joyous occasion celebrating female leadership and entrepreneurship. Guests had the pleasure of listening to an inspiring keynote speech delivered by Kristel Bauer, a renowned expert in corporate wellness and a TEDx speaker.
Her talk, titled "Find Your Imperfect Happy" offered valuable insights on finding happiness, achieving success, and maintaining well-being in both personal and professional life. Her encouraging message about embracing imperfections and prioritizing self-care set a positive tone for the entire event.
Before the luncheon kicked off, attendees had the chance to network and explore where they could engage with various companies and organizations. This networking opportunity allowed participants to connect with like-minded professionals and fellow entrepreneurs.
A standout moment was when they recognized the recipients of the 2024 Enterprising Woman Award. These exceptional women were honored for their remarkable contributions in their fields and their commitment to making positive changes within the business community. Executives, entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders were all recognized for their leadership and innovative spirit.
Reflecting on the luncheon serves as a reminder of the ongoing support needed for women in business. As a women-owned business ourselves, we understand the importance of supporting and empowering women in their professional endeavors.
